Foals will be launching their new single 'Olympic Airways' with a live performance & signing tour of their favourite zavvi stores, starting in our Glasgow Buchanan Street store on Monday 6th October at 5:30pm.
Then on Tuesday 7th October at 5:30pm the boys will be hitting our Newcastle store before taking their brand of music to our Manchester Arndale store at 5:30pm on Wednesday 8th October.
This five-piece 'math' rocker outfit hail from Oxford and combine angular post-punk guitar, minimalist electronica and energetic live shows. Amongst the hottest new talent in the BBC's 'Sound for 2008' poll, their debut long-layer, ANTIDOTES is released on the cult indie label, Transgressive (Young Knives, Mystery Jets, Larrikin Love etc).
** NB: All instores are wristband only events. Wristbands are available on a first come first served basis to personal callers only, from 9:00am Monday 6th October at the respective zavvi stores. 2 wristbands per person.
